Dr. Aarati KalluriI grew up in a middle-class family of academicians and researchers who instilled in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and ethical service. As a mother of two, I understand the deep need for a regulated, trustworthy healthcare system where our families feel safe and cared for. Having worked alongside people from all walks of life, I’ve learned that what matters most in healthcare is empathy and accommodation. These are the cornerstones of excellent care. Where Did You Study Dentistry?I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Prosthodontics from India in 2003, where I taught and practiced before moving to Oregon in 2005 with my husband. We settled down and started our family here. In 2008, I earned my DDS degree from UCSF. Since then, I’ve remained committed to lifelong learning. I was honored to receive a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2021, and most recently, I achieved Mastership in July 2025. My drive to learn and excel continues to be stronger than ever. I continue to pursue and learn latest and the greatest to be able to deliver the best. After gaining experience in Oregon, I took the leap to build my own dental practice from the ground up. Clinical work remains my passion, and I feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community through it. What are your contributions to Oregonians and the stateIn 2021, I was appointed by the Governor of Oregon to serve as a Dentist Member on the Oregon Board of Dentistry. It has been a privilege to contribute in this capacity, and I am currently honored to serve as the Board’s President for the 2025–2026 term. Working alongside dedicated colleagues and staff, I’m helping to bring forward new systems and fresh ideas to better serve the profession and the public. Away from the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?I love relaxing with my family, whether traveling or spending time outdoors. On my leisure days, I enjoy experimenting with brush strokes, trying to recreate beautiful sceneries in oil. ![]() |
